With all the choices available for our viewing pleasure, it’s encouraging when people across the globe enjoy the shared experience of the Olympic games. It remains one of the few events people watch and discuss with little to no discontent.
We cheer our favorite athletes, pull for the underdog, and feel pride for our nation. We embrace the personal stories told by the commentators and learn to appreciate all athletes.
Underneath it all, Olympic athletes share a common and uniting bond. They must overcome failures, mental fatigue, fear, and obstacles to reach the epitome of athletic prowess.
As the 2024 Olympic games approach, I thought you may enjoy the tale of how Frank Thompson, an American Rancher, reached the Olympic games in 2012 and 2016 in the sport of Skeet Shooting.
His is a story of hard work, dedication, good coaching, and most importantly, family. As you listen to the podcast, don’t let Frank’s soft-spoken humility take away from the incredible advice he offers throughout. If you heed his message, you may just find all the inspiration you need to pursue your passion as well.
The Olympic games rely on sponsors, so I encourage you to check out the following companies that sponsor Team USA and Frank Thompson:
Winchester Ammunition | Premium Ammo | Winchester Ammunition
